GOOD EARTH has been a leading producer of horticultural growing media in North America, including peat moss and bark based mixes, as well as complete lines or retail products. To growers and consumers, we are also known by the brands – Hoffman, Country Cottage & Pioneer Southern.
We are a family-owned and operated company with 10 production facilities across the US and Canada. We harvest Canadian Sphagnum Peat in New Brunswick, Canada, and operate bark-composting operations across the US. We distribute to and support our valued customers worldwide.
With the acquisitions of A.H. Hoffman & Pioneer Southern, GOOD EARTH continues to produce and develop the Hoffman, Country Cottage, and Pioneer Southern lines of garden products – along with the GOOD EARTH and GOOD EARTH CANADA brands.
GOOD EARTH’s corporate offices and warehouse are located on the main highway - US 20 - in the Town of Lancaster, New York. Facilities include a new warehouse and office building.
